Have you read any good Sci-Fi books lately? What's a good "must-read" the hubz and I can share and discuss?

I am currently listening to an audio book (pretty much the only way I can "read" now since I go to school full time and work full time) by Melissa Marr called Ink Exchange. It is the second book in the series, the first of which was Wicked Lovely. I saw on a fan site that they are supposed to be making a movie out of these which is pretty exciting. If you like fantasy, fairies, and magic, you'd probably like this book. You can read more about it on the wicked lovely fansite, which I think is pretty sweet-

I keep hearing good things about the Hunger Games, so maybe I should put that on my Christmas list. :)

Stacey, The Hunger Games series is pretty good. I think the first book was the best, and then they kind of went down from there, but it is still a worthwhile read. I was kind of disappointed with the last book of the series because I felt that it didn't really stay true to the first two, but like I said overall the series is great and it def got me to thinking about politics and survival.

Have you read the Amber series by Roger Zelazny. It begins with the Nine Princes in Amber and goes on from there. I got into this when I lived in LA and a local NPR station would do book radings at night. They read this and I was hooked.

I'm really drawn to Young Adult sci-fi/fantasy books, and would love some recommendations and general discussion on this genre! This week alone I read: 8th Grade Bites: Chronicles of Vladmir Tod, book #1 (vampires...weak book, would not recommend), Linger, book #2 in the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy (werewolves...AMAZING!!! book, highly recommend), and Hush, Hush ( was ok, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars). I've also loved the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld, and my daughters are hounding me to read the Hunger Games series. What have you read that you loved?
